Risk Disclosure
Effective 21 August 2026.
Please read this page carefully before subscribing to or using any agent on Meridex. It explains, plainly, what kind of product this is, what it is not, and the real risks involved in trading — including through Meridex.
Meridex is not investment advice
Meridex is not a broker-dealer, is not a registered investment adviser, and does not provide personalized investment advice. Trade proposals are generated by applying an agent’s general, pre-set rules to market data — they are not tailored to your financial situation, goals, tax position, or risk tolerance, and no one at Meridex reviews a proposal before it reaches you. Treat every proposal as informational only, and decide for yourself whether it is appropriate for you.
You make every trade decision — the software makes none
No agent on Meridex ever places an order without your explicit, in-the-moment approval in your dashboard. There is no autopilot mode, no setting that enables one, and no code path that submits an order to your broker without an action from you. Approving a proposal is your decision and your responsibility, exactly as if you had placed the order yourself.
Risk of loss
Trading securities — including exchange-traded funds — involves substantial risk of loss, up to and including the loss of your entire invested principal. Markets can move quickly and unpredictably. No agent, however well it has performed historically, can guarantee a profit or protect against loss. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Past performance — live and paper — does not predict future results
Every agent shown on Meridex is labeled either live or paper. A live track record reflects real trades in real brokerage accounts. A track record labeled “paper” is generated by simulated orders against real market prices, with no real money at risk, and is shown for transparency about how an agent is performing, never as an expectable or likely return. In either case, past performance does not guarantee, project, or promise future results. An agent that has performed well can lose money going forward, including money you allocate to it.
No guarantee of execution, price, or timely delivery
Meridex cannot guarantee that a proposal will reach you, that you will see it before it expires, or that approving it will result in a filled order at the price shown. Email notifications can be delayed, dropped, or filtered by your inbox. Your brokerage’s systems can be slow, unavailable, or reject an order outright. Markets can be closed, halted, or too volatile for an order to fill at a reasonable price. Every proposal carries an expiry window and a maximum-price-drift guardrail specifically because prices move between when a proposal is generated and when you act on it — approving a proposal after the market has moved too far will be declined rather than filled at a worse price, which means an approval can be rejected even when you act in time.
Your money stays at your own broker
Meridex is non-custodial: we never hold your funds or securities, never accept a deposit, and never pool client money. Every approved order is placed directly in the brokerage account you connect, through our brokerage-connection provider. Because of this, you are also exposed to your own broker’s risks — its solvency, its systems, its own outages — which are outside our control. Meridex is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Robinhood or any brokerage.
Suitability and tax and legal matters are your own
You are solely responsible for determining whether any agent, subscription, or individual trade is suitable for your circumstances, and for any tax consequences of trades placed through your account. Nothing on Meridex is tax or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
ETF and securities-specific risks
Exchange-traded funds carry their own risks beyond those of the securities they hold: a fund’s market price can diverge from its net asset value, trading can be halted, and a fund concentrated in a sector, country, or commodity carries the concentrated risk of that exposure. Read a fund’s own prospectus before trading it.
